Brain Imaging Center
White matter fiber tracking derived
from Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI).
The paths of fibers passing through
the corpus callosum were tracked.
Red represents fibers running
primarily left/right. Blue is up/down,
and green is front/back.
Welcome to the Brain Imaging Center affiliated with the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
The BIC provides researchers from the University of Missouri; surrounding institutions; and those within the science, technology, and pharmaceutical industries with the facility, infrastructure, and resources (i.e., equipment, services, and information) required to conduct research using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology.
The University of Missouri Brain Imaging Center is ready to accommodate researchers who wish to acquire imaging of the human body and brain.
Although you need an idea to get started, you do not need practical knowledge and application in MRI equipment or scanning operations. We offer the technical support and expertise that you need. We also offer funds at a reduced rate to assist you with the collection of pilot data. If you are interested or require additional information, please contact Administrative Assistant, Emily Sabath, at 573-884-8779.
